Robinson and Lougheed named Huskies Athletes of the Week: Nov. 10-16, 2025
Men's football receiver Cherokee Robinson and women's volleyball setter Taylor Lougheed have been named Huskies Athletes of the Week, sponsored by Freeman's Little New York Halifax, for the week ending November 16, 2025.

Cherokee Robinson, a third year receiver from Halifax, NS, is the Huskies male athlete of the week, sponsored by Freeman's Little New York Halifax, for the week of Nov. 10-16, 2025.
In Saturday's 49-19 loss to the Montreal Carabins in the Uteck Bowl, Robinson had three catches for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Robinson was named an AUS All-Star this season, leading the Huskies with 28 receptions, 560 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season, and adding five catches for 75 yards and one touchdown in the playoffs.

Taylor Lougheed, a fourth year setter from Calgary, AB, is the Huskies female athlete of the week, sponsored by Freeman's Little New York Halifax, for the week of Nov. 10-16, 2025.
Over a pair of games this weekend, Lougheed recorded a combined 54 assists, and added 23 digs, two blocks and a kill.
In Friday's five set loss to the Dalhousie Tigers, Lougheed recorded 31 assists and nine digs.
In Sunday's straight set win over the Tigers, Lougheed was named Player of the Match, leading the Huskies with 23 assists, and adding 14 digs, two blocks and a kill.
Through eight matches this season, Lougheed ranks scond in the AUS with 226 assists.
The Huskies record stands at 5-3, good for second in the AUS Standings. Saint Mary's have next weekend off returning to play on November 28 & 29, as they visit the Memorial Sea-Hawks (2-4) in St. John's, NL.
