Huskies women’s soccer announce commitment of midfielder Èva Ronayne
Saint Mary's Huskies women's soccer head coach Marisa Colzie is pleased to announce the commitment of midfielder Èva Ronayne for the 2026 season.
A 5'4" centre midfielder / winger from Lower Sackville, N.S., Ronayne joins the Huskies out of Sackville High School and Suburban FC.
"I'm really thankful for the opportunity to play at Saint Mary's!" says Èva. "I'm super excited to be part of the team and can't wait to grow both as a player and a person!"
Ronayne helped lead Suburban FC to back-to-back Provincial Championships in 2024 (U17AAA) and 2023 (U15AAA), and back-to-back fourth place finishes at the Canadian Club National Championships.
She recently played with Premier Soccer Academy at the prestigous Gothia World Cup in Sweden, leading her team to a silver medal and being named Team MVP.
Ronayne also captains her Sackville High School team and was the teams leading scorer.
An honour roll student, Ronayne will be studying a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary's, with plans to major in Psychology. Her father Anthony is a Saint Mary's alumnus.
The Huskies will kick-off the 2026 season on home field as they host the UNB REDS on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. at Huskies Stadium.
