Huskies women’s hockey announce commitment of defender Leslie Cuddihy

Saint Mary's Huskies women's hockey head coach Chris Larade is pleased to announce the commitment of defender Leslie Cuddihy for the 2025-26 season.

A 5'10" defender from Montreal, Quebec, Cuddihy captained the King's Edgehill School prep hockey team this past season, scoring 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in 48 games played.

Cuddihy was named King's Edgehill School's Senior Female Scholar Athlete, and Most Outstanding Contributer for Highlander Girl's Hockey this past season.

"Leslie brings some good size and presence on our blue line," says Huskies head coach Chris Larade. "She is a very mature young player that displays great traits both on and off the ice. She's a true pro in how she goes about her business and how she prepares and we're excited to see her game adapt quickly to the university level."

"I am excited to start at Saint Mary's and meet new people while playing hockey!" says Cuddihy.

Cuddihy will be studying a Bachelor of Engineering at Saint Mary's.
