Huskies women's basketball announce commitment of Darah Fleurgin
Saint Mary's women's basketball coach Scott Munro pleased to announce the commitment of Darah Fleurgin to the Huskies line-up for the 2026-27 season.
Fleurgin, a 6'0" forward from Montreal, Quebec, has played the last two seasons with the Lake City 56ers in the Maritime Women's Basketball Association (MWBA).
She previously played two seasons with the Cape Breton Capers from 2022-24, where she was named to the 2022-23 AUS All-Rookie Team, and averaged 6.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 0.9 steals over 39 games played.
"We are excited to add Darah to our lineup!" says Huskies head coach Scott Munro. "She will make an immediate impact with her ability to defend multiple positions, rebound the basketball and get out in transition."
Fleurgin will be studying a Bachelor of Arts at Saint Mary's, with plans to major in Psychology.
