Bio

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta. Ryan Foster came to the Huskies in 2015 as a QB recruit out of Austin O'Brien Highschool. Ryan played 3 seasons for the Huskies acquiring Academic All-Canadian status, a Third M award, and a trip to a Loney Bowl. After he finished his playing career Ryan was hired as a GA and worked as the Special Teams Assistant with the Huskies staff, going to a second consecutive Loney Bowl appearance.

Since then, he has been both an Offensive and Special Teams Coordinator for various teams including 4 seasons with the Auburn High Eagles, 2 seasons with the Nova Scotia Buccaneers, and 3 seasons with Football Nova Scotia's u-14 and u-16 tackle teams. In that time, he has been a part of teams that have won 2 SSNS provincial championships, 2 MFL, and 2 Bronze medals at the U-16 Eastern Challenge.

Ryan is thrilled to be back coaching with the Huskies, as SMU is his alma mater, the place he met his wife, Lexa Ali, and home to many of his best memories as a player and coach.
