(Charlottetown, PE) On a hot mid-September Saturday, the AUS Cross Country season kicked off with the first meet, hosted by UPEI in Victoria Park, Charlottetown.  The heat made for tough races and the Huskies were able to compete well despite the conditions. Look for Burke to make a push come the AUS Championships to attempt to claim AUS Female Rookie of the Year. Third year Paige Roszak, put in a solid effort to finish 36thin a time of 21:57. First year athlete Emma Parsons rounded out the three female Huskies racing in 55thplace, clocking a 24:15.
