Clara Gascoigne joins Huskies for the 2019-20 season

The Saint Mary's University women's basketball team is pleased to announce the commitment of Clara Gascoigne to the Huskies for the 2019-20 season.

Gascoigne is a 5'11 guard from Dartmouth NS. Gascoigne is a former metro all-star in both high school volleyball and basketball. Gascoigne is also a veteran of the Basketball Nova Scotia provincial team program, having been an alternate with the 2017 Canada Games team and a key member of this past summers Nova Scotia entry at the Canadian National Championships.

"We are very excited to have Clara join our program next year. Clara is a very versatile player and provides very good length and athleticism on the perimeter. Clara has the ability to guard multiple positions on the floor and get out in transition and score the ball. She has developed her game nicely the past few years and has certainly emerged as one of the elite players in the province. We expect Clara to make a quick transition to the AUS," says head coach Scott Munro.

Gascoigne is an excellent student who will enter into Saint Mary's Bachelor of Science program.
