AUS Semi-final set after Draw #5 results

(HALIFAX, NS) – The playoff picture is set tonight at 7 pm for the 2020 Subway AUS Curling Championships, presented by Keep It Social, being hosted by the Saint Mary's Huskies at the CFB Halifax Curling Club.

On the men's side, Memorial finished round-robin play 4-0 and will play the UNB Reds, who defeated StFX 7-2 in seven ends.

Defending AUS champions Dalhousie defeated SMU 6-5 in eight ends as the Tigers scored the last four points to improve to 3-1 while SMU drops to 2-2.

Both teams will face each other again in the other semi-final.

Over on the women's bracket, defending AUS champions Dalhousie Tigers are 5-0 and will face Saint Mary's, who are 2-3 while the Mount Alison Mounties and UNB Reds are both 3-2 and will play in the other semi-final tonight.

The AUS semifinals are tonight at 7 pm and the AUS finals Sunday morning at 10 am.

All four finalists will earn berths into the U SPORTS national championship March 11-15 in Portage la Prairie, Man.
